Subject: The Unit Won't Shut Down or Shuts Down
Prematurely

The SAVA3 will not shut down after an input signal has been removed or, the unit will shut down while an input signal is still active to the speaker.

Solution:

Replace IC801 syscon, on the system board, and add a 1K 1/4W resistor between pin 1 of CN802 and pin 17 of IC801. Then, cut the foil pattern between these two points. See the diagram below. REF N/A DESCRIPTION 1K OHM 1/4 WATT RESISTOR PART NUMBER 1-247-713-11
