No surround sound - when selecting in menu it shows "OFF" & can't be turned back on
Software bug - select special menu & ensure "Standard TV" is set to "Off", sw off for 30 secs. Sw back on & Surround sound can now be set

No sound
IC3A1 IC3A2 and IC3B1. It is always the middle one that goes s/c and blows Z902 which then removes the 28v supply to these ICs. You can check which one is s/c by unsoldering pin 9 of each ic one at a time and the check for s/c across PLUG DE which is the 28v supply
