The Driven elements are split and insulated with a 1-1/4" dia. solid fiberglass rod and fed with a weather sealed coaxial 1:1 balun rated for 3 kw. All hardware, except U-bolts, is stainless steel. The Linear loaded elements are 3/16 inch aluminum rod (6061-T6), elevated slightly at boom center to reduce inductive cancellation (requiring LESS loading), reduce mechanical stress, and minimize element droop.
