Solution: The Multi-button Assembly 4-073-843-04 is hitting the Remote Sensor (IC2001) 8-742-134-00, causing the remote sensor mounted on the "A" Board to bend. Thus causing an intermittent connection on the board and loss of remote operation. If the customer should complain of this symptom the following changes will need to be performed. 1. Re-solder the pins of the remote sensor, IC2001, as shown in Fig 2. Fig 2 3. The multibutton can be modified or replaced for the new type multibutton suffix -05 (4-073-843-05) this suffix was re-tooled as a permanent countermeasure. To modifiy the multibutton with suffix from -01 to -04, follow the steps as the picture below shows. 1. Identify the part number 4-073-843-(01-04) Area to be modified. See Fig 3 Fig 3 2.
