If the above mentioned symptom occurs, and if IC31 is the newest type, replace it with the former type (CXP84332-008Q). Also, if the suffix of the silkscreened part number on the MD board is "-13" a trace on the MD board must be cut as shown in the illustration. Finally, if the XDP-U50D is being used, make sure that the procedure described in Car Stereo Service Bulletin # 377 has also been performed.
