Please note that the Optical lock lever should be in the unlocked state when fitting the Rear cover. The Optical lock lever may be pushed inside (Locked state) by a rib on the Rear cover when fitting this cover. In this case the Optical/Scan system can not move toward the left side, when attempting to make a copy with the DP. Under this condition, the following phenomena may occur: 1. Abnormal image. 2. Blank copy. 3. Background on the image. Rear cover Upper left cover The rib may push the Optical lock lever (Locked state) Optical lock lever.
