It includes either CDMA 800 and AMPS or CDMA 800 only, depending on model (see type designators and their corresponding bands below). The transceiver consists of system/RF module, keypad module, LCD mod- ule, and assembly parts. The user interface (UI) consists of normal number, talk, soft, and power keys in the keymat. There are two antennas -- external whip plus internal. There is no direct connection from the whip to the PWB. The signal is capacitively coupled over the air. RH-17 features include an internal vibra, a voice-recognition algorithm, comprehensive data support (1XRTT, 14.4k circuit switched, and 14.4 packet data), and codecs.
