File name air_cleaner_®_.pdf Air Cleaner HR 4345/A Philips Domestic Appliances and Personal Care PRODUCT INFORMATION GENERAL The HR 4345 is suitable for room / areas with a floor surface of up to approx. 40 m2. The air cleaner cleans the air effectively by catching 90 % of the gases and 95 % of the particles produced by smoking. This is done by 3 filters : Foam pre-filter : The foam pre-filter catches the larger dust particles floating in the air, such as fluff and hairs. FEATURES Filter full indicator: Once the indication light comes on, the filter has to be replaced. After replacement of the filters, the filter full indicator has to be reset. The reset button has to be pressed and hold for at least 3 seconds. The indication light remains ( or comes ) on. After some time it will go out to indicate that the indicator has been reset. Electronic speed setting: 0 - 1 - 2 and turbo. Safety lock: The front cover has a safety lock. A nock of the frontcover operates the microswitch of the PCB when the front cover is closed. Once the front cover is removed the microswitch interrupts the electric circuit and the motor stops. Over heating safety device: The overheating safety device comes into operation when the motor becomes too hot. To indicate that the appliance is still in " ON " position and connected to the mains, the pilot light remains on. If this happens : - Switch off the motor. - After approx. 15 min. the air cleaner can be switched on again.
