Symptom: (xxxx) Date: January 30, 2001 The IC identified in Self-diagnostic instructions on the CD-ROM issued with the Service Manual is incorrect. Solution: The Service Manual incorrectly misstates the potential cause of vertical deflection (V-Stop) as IC502. Please update self-diagnostic test indicator table on page 4 of the AA-2U Service Manual, as follows: Probable cause for stoppage of vertical deflection (V-Stop) is that IC561 on the "A" Board is faulty. Diagnostic Item Description # of times Standby/Timer LED Flashes Self-diagnostic Display Diagnostic Results 4:0 or 4:1 Probable Cause Location Detected Symptoms V-Stop 4 Times +12V is not supplied (A Board IC561 is faulty Has entered standby state after horizontal raster.
