Solution: Add the following circuit between IC201 (Micro) and the FM/AM tuner pack (FE201). Remove JW361 and mount a 1K resistor in its place. (Designate this resistor R1). 2.) Mount the DTC-114ES base lead to the JW360 pattern land. (See diagram) 3.) Mount the other 1K resistor (Designate R2) between the collector of the DTC114ES and ground. The transistors collector lead and resistor R2 should now be soldered to the other side of R1 , which is already mounted in place of JW361. (See diagram) 4.) Cut the pattern land of the #3 pin of CNP201. Mount the 1N4148M diode between the emitter of the DTC-114ES (Anode to transistor, Cathode to land) and the isolated land of the cut foil pattern. (See diagram). 5.) Mount the 90MM jumper wire between the cathode of the diode 1N4148M and pin #21 of the FM/AM Tuner Pack, FE201.
