The procedures are divided into two subsections: The Customer Removable Parts and The Service Removable Parts. The first subsection explains which parts may be removed by the customer/owner, and the second subsection explains which parts should be serviced by the technician. The Customer Removable Parts Serial Number Report your Notebook's serial number 1 to Compaq when requesting information or ordering spare parts. The serial number is located on the underside of the Notebook as shown below.
