6. Appendix Diagnosis by Test Pattern (1)
In case of PDP, the picture problem at all over the screen (Picture Noise, Full Vertical Line) is mainly caused
by D or A board defective. This Test Pattern is able to diagnose D or A board. Because, D board had Test
Pattern. So, we can judge by using Test Pattern which is defective. Regarding diagnosis for these board,
please confirm as follows.

1. While pressing "VOLUME ( - ) " button of the TV set,
press " 0 " button of the remote control three
times within 2 seconds.
2. Push button "1" of Remote Controller several times,
and select "Aging" setting,then "Test pattern" will appear.
3. Press "3" button for next picture in forward direction
and test patterns are shown repeatedly.
Press "4" button for previous picture in reverse direction Example Picture
and test patterns are shown repeatedly.

6. Appendix Diagnosis by Test Pattern (2)
In case of No picture problem (Sound OK), the defective board is mainly A or D board. But in this case,
Test Pattern isn't useful for diagnosis. Because, this symptom can not display OSD and not enter to the
Service Mode. This method is possible to judge the defective board in this symptom.

1. This white pattern is generated by IC9300,IC9400 on D board.
2. When Power ON after removing A5 connector, white picture is provided to panel drive circuit.
Then, white picture automatically appears in normal situation.
