HDD0x0 Main Board Recovery
Initial tests
Before running any SW on the HDD0x0 board, it is required to verify proper behaviour of the
power supply of the unit (Battery port). To do this, use a power supply that is set to 4.0 V and
with a current limit of 600mA. Never exceed the 4.2V limit for the power supply, since this can
provide permanent damage to the board.

Factory SW loading
Connect the device to a PC via USB cable, which has the DFU application installed and
running.
Attention: DFU program works only with USB1.1 !
This DFU connection via USB runs automatically when the SAA7750 is not programmed yet.
In case the SAA7750 already contains another SW inside, the DFU connection will not be
made automatically and the SAA7750 will start running its application SW. The SAA7750 can
be forced into this DFU mode by pulling testpad F125 low during power-on and DFU avtivity.
By forcing this upload it is possible to modify the SW that is present in the SAA7750 internal
Flash.
Remark: If you use the DFU program first time together with HDD then Windows asked for the
driver. The driver will be found in the same directory, as the DFU program is located.
