Examples of the Problem:

Preparation:
1. Obtain 2 SD Cards, one for use in step 1, one for use in step 2.
The card capacity must be between 128MB and 2GB and they should be standard speed.
2. Obtain a copy of the two different firmware versions - "pdrom_42fh10_v480Ft3_sddl.lzh" (for Step 1),
and "42FM10_v47.8Ft1_sddl.lzh" (for Step 1b) - from your usual service source.
3. Copy the zip file "pdrom_42fh10_v480Ft3_sddl.lzh" to a computer and unzip the file.
4. Copy the file and folders found in the extracted file and copy them onto the root directory of
SD Card 1 (for Step 1). See Fig. 1
5. Copy the zip file "42FM10_v47.8Ft1_sddl.lzh" to a computer and unzip the file.
6. Copy the file and folders found in the extracted file and copy them onto the root directory of
SD Card 2 (for Step 2). See Fig. 2 Fig. 1 Fig. 2

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Step 1: PDROM Software Upgrade
1. Turn on the Plasma TV
2. Insert SD card 1, with the files prepared in preparation step 4 above, into the SD Card slot.
3. Using the Cursor buttons on the remote control, select YES, then press the OK button to start the software
upgrade - The TV LED will change from green to red.
- Wait until the red LED turns off (about 6 minutes)
- Do NOT turn off the TV until the red LED turns orange or the TV will be broken
4. When the red LED turns orange, this part of the software ugprade is complete.
5. Using the power switch, turn the Plasma TV off.
6. Remove SD Card 1 from the SD Card slot.
Step 2: FPGA Software Upgrade
1. Turn on the Plasma TV
2. Insert SD card 2, with the files prepared in preparation step 6 above, into the SD Card slot.
3. Using the Cursor buttons on the remote control, select YES, then press the OK button to start the software
upgrade - The TV LED will change from green to red.
- Wait until the red LED turns off (about 2 minutes)
- Do NOT turn off the TV until the red LED turns orange or the TV will be broken
4. When the red LED turns orange, this part of the software ugprade is complete.
5. Using the power switch, turn the Plasma TV off.
6. Remove SD Card 2 from the SD Card slot.
