other component substitution (other than original type)
Type : Semiconductor laser GaAlAs
may increase risk of fire or electrical shock hazard.
Wavelength : 650nm (DVD)
: 780nm (VCD/CD)
Safety regulations require that after a repair, you must
Output power : 7mW (DVD)
return the unit in its original condition. Pay, in particular,
: 10mW (DVD /CD)
attention to the following points:
Beam divergence: 60 degree

beam.
. Check the electrical DC resistance between the mains
plug and the secondary side:
1) Unplug the mains cord, and connect a wire between
the two pins of the mains plug.
2) Set the mains switch the "on" position (keep the
mains cord unplug).
3) Measure the resistance value between the mains
plug and the front panel, controls, and chassis
bottom.
4) Repair or correct unit when the resistance
measurement is less than 1M .
5) Verify this, before you return the unit to the
customer/user (ref. UL-standard no. 1492).
6) Switch the unit "off", and remove the wire between
the two pins of the mains plug.

4. Software Upgrade Instruction

In HTL11 0B models, S
oftware to upgrade:
Main board software Update procedure:
Step 1: Rename Bin name to HTL1180.BIN, and copy file to U disk root directory

Step 2: Switch source to AUDIO IN mode, insert UDisk.

Step 3: Switch source to AUX mode, then switch source to USB mode in 55s.

Step 4: Wait for HTL1180 re ad firmware from UDisk, if firmware is correct, upgrade start, all LEDs light on.

Step 5: Wait for upgrade finished: when finished, all LEDs will blink.

Step 6: Unplug AC line, press&hold local POWER key, plug AC line, until all LEDs blink, FACTORY RESET action is triggered

Note:

If switch from AUX to USB mode within 60 sec, allow the USB firmware upgrade.

If from Aux mode, exceed 60 sec then switch to USB, do not trigger the USB firmware upgrade.

USB device:

Support USB 1.1, 2.0 FS.

Support USB Filesystem FAT16 ,FAT32 and NTFS

Don't distinguish upper and lower letters for FW name

When upgrading, all LEDs turn ON.

After upgrade successfully, blink all LED 3 times(rate of once every second) after that reboot.

In HTL11 0B models, there are two me
thods to FACTORY RESET STEP:

Method One:

for RC method
Switch to MUTE status, and then quickly press AUX key for two times within 800ms (<800ms),
System will show software version for 3 seconds, and go to factory reset

Method Two:

for local method
the Press and Hold local_key_STANDBY while power up the mains to trigger the RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT
setting.
