SUBJECT: PC Re-Boot Causing X-Ray Protection Shutdown Background: When re-booting certain PCs, the x-ray protection circuit will turn on and cause the monitor to have no video and toggle the power LED.

Cause: When re-booting, the horizontal sync coming from the PC or generator can be unstable. This will generate over an 8V peak. At this time, the duty cycle of the voltage, which is approximately 100ms, is recognized by the processor, and turns on the X-Ray protection.

Solution: Change Capacitor C417
