SUBJECT: Bright Back Raster with Retrace Lines

BACKGROUND: Due to a high current draw from the fly-back transformer, resistors R508 or R509 may open. This will cause maximum brightness with retrace lines on the display. SOLUTION: Remove 1.5M resistors R508 and R509. Replace R509 with a 1Mohm ½ watt resistor. Replace R508 with a 1M-ohm ½ watt resistor. Also, add a 1M-ohm ½ watt resistor in series with R508. Designate the added resistor as R522. See diagram on page 2. PARTS LIST: See Below ORIGINAL
