Accessing Documentation When and Where
You Need It
Technical Overview
As the pace of the electronics industry continues to
increase, fast access to accurate information becomes
more important than ever. Also, many people want to
access information in a variety of formats: as printed
documents, on a PC, via an Internet browser, or on a smart
phone or tablet computer.
To meet these needs, Agilent now offers a fully integrated
set of user, service, and SCPI programming documentation
for the Agilent 33500 Series waveform generators. The
document uses a streamlined writing style that makes
extensive use of graphical images, and it is available in
English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and
Simplified Chinese on a CD that is included with your
instrument. You can also download the latest documenta-
tion from the Agilent Web site by pressing View Products
at www.agilent.com/find/33500. A version of the

also use a QR code app and the camera on your smart
phone or tablet to scan the QR code in Figure 1.
The QR code is also printed on the CD included with
your instrument, and as of firmware version 2.x, you can
view the QR code on the instrument's display by pressing
[System] > Help > View documentation on your mobile
device.
