Subject: Stereo Channels Reversed Using Headphones Date: July 15, 1997

Symptom:
(156) Right and Left channels are reversed when using headphones. Stereo is OK when
using the internal speakers.

Solution: If the customer should complain about the above symptom please perform the
following circuit change.

Remove resistors R491 and R492 on the "A" Board. Either replace or extend the
leads on the existing ones.

Re-insert R491 into point A. Insert the other end into point C.

Re-insert R492 into point B. Insert the other end into point D.

Note: This circuit change has been put into production starting with serial number 8014870.
