Subject: Disc Tray Won't Open Date: April 29, 1996


Symptom:
(161) The disc tray may be jammed and will not open. The U/D gear (#104) may rotate
clockwise during transportation causing the mechanism to jam.



Solution: If a unit comes in for service for any reason, replace the right side (facing the unit)
rubber cushion with a new improved type. Please see the diagram below for location
of the cushion.
