Subject: Two different types of A/V switch IC203 Date: January 30, 2002

Symptom:
(118X) There are two different types of A/V switch used but the Service Manual only shows
the block diagram for the one type.

Solution: The service manual is only showing the Block diagram for IC203, which is the 32-pin
A/V switch MM1311AD. This IC is used for models KV-27S42 and KV-27S46, which
are not PIP models. The Block Diagram for the 42 pin MM1313 used in the
KV-27S66, which is the PIP model, is not shown. Below is the Block diagram for the
two A/V switches.
