Symptom: For models with the Z22 mechanism (mechanism assembly with part no. YMA0025xx), a tape may get jammed. Then, an emergency code "E03" is displayed. Cause: The cassette does not rest properly in the mechanism when it is inserted as shown below. The tape gets stuck due to an incorrect alignment with the Reel Disk Mechanism.

Solution: Both the take-up and supply side Reel Disk Assemblies should be replaced as shown in the table below.
It is also recommended that the Slit Washer be replaced with a new one. Otherwise, the slit washer may become deformed or damaged during the replacement of the Reel Disk Assemblies.
