Subject: Incorrect IC identified in Self-diagnostic Date: January 30, 2001
instructions of the service manual.
Symptom:
(xxxx) The IC identified in Self-diagnostic instructions on the CD-ROM issued with the
Service Manual is incorrect.
Solution: The Service Manual incorrectly misstates the potential cause of vertical deflection
(V-Stop) as IC502. Please update self-diagnostic test indicator table on page 4 of
the AA-2U Service Manual, as follows:
Probable cause for stoppage of vertical deflection (V-Stop) is that
IC561 on the "A" Board is faulty.
