· Mono input channels are equipped with discrete Class-A
microphone preamplifier "D-PRE".
· D-PRE employ an inverted Darlington circuit* used in Yamaha's
recording gear.
* Inverted Darlington circuit: An amplifying method for eliminating the non-linear
characteristics of the amplifier element and suppressing the distortion.

X-pressive EQ
· The shelving EQ (low/high) on the mono input channels
features X-pressive EQ.
· We analyzed vintage EQ analog circuits and redesigned the

using sound sources that have different mastering levels.

SELF DIAG
How to activate
Startup a power supply while pressing the [FX1] switch, [FX2]
switch and [HOME] switch of the top panel simultaneously, the
following screen will start.
Press the "PLAY" switch to start "SELF DIAG"
By operation ENCODER2, the timeout for failure judging of switches
or volumes is adjusted.
It is set to 5 seconds at the time of starting.

Initialization
· How to activate
The backup memory is initialized if a power supply is
started while pressing the [FX2] switch and [SETUP]
switch of the top panel simultaneously. And the
message of "Backup Memory Initialized!"is displayed
on the screen for about 5 seconds.

Cause
Some lenses may be loose or having crack
that may not hold the "ON" film in position Fig 3. Button Structure
Fix
Glue around the edge with a jelly-type quick-drying and anti-shock glue
Do not use a solvent type glue. It may cause the film to melt

Location to apply the glue
Quick-drying glue cause the lens to frost and whiten.
To prevent this, cover around the top portion of the lens.
Continue on for all "ON" button, to prevent
this from occurring
