Subject: Compatibility between new Remote controllers for AVR-11 Series
and old AVR models.
This is Information only.
Symptom: New Remote controllers (RC-1145/1146/1147) for the AVR-11
Series cannot control old AVR models (before AVR-10 Series). Denon unified the
IR codes of new Remote controllers (RC-1145/1146/1147) for AVR-11 Series
into the KASEIKYO format which is not compatible with the older (pre-10 series)
models.
Details: New Remote controllers (RC-1145/1146/1147) for AVR-11 Series can
not control old AVR models (before AVR-10 Series). Therefore, we can not use
new Remote controller for older AVR models. Remote controllers for old AVR
models (before AVR-10 Series) can control the AVR-11 Series.
