3 Disassembly and Reassembly
This section of the service manual describes the disassembly and reassembly procedures for the
LW15M13C/LW17M11C TFT-LCD monitors.
WARNING: This monitor contains electrostatically sensitive devices. Use caution when handling
these components.
3-1 Disassembly
Cautions:1. Disconnect the monitor from the power source before disassembly.
2. Follow these directions carefully; never use metal instruments to pry apart the cabinet.
3. R/Cover opening jig : BH81-00001A

1. Place monitor face down on cushioned table.
SCART Remove 2 screws from the rear cover and
remove 4 screws from the LCD TV pull the
total stand and rear cover.

2. Disconnect speaker cable, IR cable and
SCART remove 6 screws from the MAIN board.

3. Remove the shield and disconnect inverter
cable and LVDS cable from the panel.

4. Remove 12 screws from the panel and lift up
the boards.

5. Remove 4 screws from the shield and lift up
the shield-panel.
6. Lift up the panel.

1. Place monitor face down on cushioned table.
Remove 4 screws from the stand and remove
4 screws from the rear cover.
(CAUTION : Remove screw grip don't on the
SCART SCART stand than fall the stand from the top side of
the foot.)
2. Insert the opening drive into the grooves at
SCART each side and press until it clicks. Disconnect
IR cable and speaker cable from the shield.
3. Remove 8 screws from the shield and
disconnect shield.

4. Remove 4 screws IR board and remove 4

screws power board.

5. Remove 2 screws from the power shield and
disconnect inverter cable.
6. Disconnect LVDS cabel from the main board
and lift up the panel .
7. The panel has been disconnect from the above
figure.
