Disassembly of NSD-5FX
Note: Some form of ESD protection should be used when handling the printed wiring
board and other electronic components. In addition, gloves are required when han-
dling the components.
Remove battery
Press the button at the bottom of the phone.
Slide the cover downwards and the cover will be released.
Lift the battery first from the bottom end.
Remove the battery.

Remove the A-Cover
Press the button on top of the phone..
Pull the A-cover apart.
To remove the PWB from the housing, remove the seven screws.

Remove the UI module from the PWB.
Remove the PWB.
Parts can be separated
When taking the PWB and LCD module apart, remember the fixings on both sides of the
LCD.

Remove the volume switch and the key from the housing.
Remove the battery connector from its housing, using the SRT-3 tool.
Remove the antenna by releasing the snap fixing on both sides of the phone.
