JBV-1 Docking Station 0770298 The Docking Station and the
Docking Station Adapter are
needed for Mbus, Fbus, RF, and
audio connections.
MJF-28 works in conjunction
with the JBV-1 Docking Station
and the FPS-8 Prommer to allow
calibration, tuning, and/or soft-
ware flashing of the handset. It
supports "LYNX" battery inter-
face and has a built-in R-UIM
card reader.

MJF-28 Docking Station 0770484 The Docking Station and the
Adapter Docking Station Adapter are
needed for Mbus, Fbus, RF, and
audio connections.
MJF-28 works in conjunction
with the JBV-1 Docking Station
and the FPS-8 Prommer to allow
calibration, tuning, and/or soft-
ware flashing of the handset. It
supports "LYNX" battery inter-
face and has a built-in R-UIM
card reader.

FLA-44 Flash Loading 0770483 The flash loading adapter
Adapter replaces the phone battery to
provide continuous power to the
handset. It allows the service SW
to communicate with the hand-
set for flashing and other POS
functions. The tool is primarily
intended for use at POS locations
using the FLS-4S device.


DKU-5F Flash Cable 0080738 Designed as a single-cable flash-
ing solution for Tomahawk-based
CDMA handsets supporting the
Spirent Communications UPST
tool.

Note: Customers using the UPST
application also will require a
Spirent protection key (dongle).

MJS-82 Service Jig 0770474 The MJS-82 secures and allows
easy access to critical areas of
the handset's PWB during trou-
bleshooting. It supports regu-
lated (to 5VDC) or unregulated
DC input voltage, local and nor-
mal mode operations, headset
jack for audio tests, and R-UIM
card reader. There is a second DC
input for VCHAR used in EM tun-
ing. The jig also supports simul-
taneous RF connections to the
CDMA and GPS engines. A com-
pletely functional UI module is
provided on the right side.

CA-8RS RF Test Cable 0770299 The CA-8RS is a spare part for
the MJS-82 jig.




RJ-13 Rework Jig 0770574 This tool serves as a mechanical
holder for de-soldering and sol-
dering of components.

RJ-13 is not intended to serve as
a test jig.


FPS-8 Flash Prommer 0080321 The Flash Prommer FPS-8 is used
for heavy flash.




JXS-1 Shield Box 0770346 Use with MJF-28 and coupler
when radiated tests are required.

Developed and used only by the
Americas AMS group.

PCS-1 Power Cable 0730012 The Power Cable PCS-1 is used to
connect the service tools (JBV-1,
MJS-82) to an external power
supply.




XRS-6 RF Cable 0730231 RF Cable XRF-1 is used to con-
nect the service tools to RF
measuring equipment.




FLS-4S POS Flash Adapter 0080543 The Point of Sale (POS) flash is a
low-cost software upgrade tool.
(This requires the XCS-1 cable
[0730218], NOT included.)




DAU-9T FBUS Cable 0730267 The MBUS cable DAU-9T pro-
vides a connection from the
serial port of the computer to the
system connector of the phone.

DAU-9S F / MBUS Cable 0730108 This is a general-purpose cable
to support F / MBUS communi-
cation between a Mod-10 device
and a PC.




SKT-3 Test A-Cover 0770541 Test A-Cover allows the techni-
cian to replace the handset's
original A-Cover with one that
provides access to the CDMA and
GPS RF connectors.

This accessory only supports the
XRS-4 RF Test Cable.
XRS-4 RF Test Cable 0730221 The XRS-4 is used in conjunction
with the SKT-3 Test Cover.


XRS-12 RF Test Cable 0730274 The XRS-12 can be used for gal-
vanic RF testing (cellular and
GPS).


CA-5S DC Service Cable 0730283 CA-5S is used for EM calibration
with the JBV-1. The cable
replaces the SCB-3 DC Cable
(0730114)




CPL-8 GPS Antenna Cou- 0770475 Use this coupler to test the GPS
pler antenna during handset trouble-
shooting at authorized service
centers. The coupler is attached
to and detached from MJF-28.

The MJF-28 and the coupler
assembly fit into the JXS-1 shield
box.

PKD-1 SW Security 0750018 SW security device PKD-1 is
Device hardware device that, when con-
nected to the parallel (LPT) port
of the PC, enables the use of the
service software. Without the
dongle present, it is not possible
to use the service software.
Printers or other peripheral
devices can be connected to the
PC through the dongle, if needed.

Caution: Make sure that you have
switched off the PC and the
printer before making connec-
tions!

Caution: Do not connect the
PKD-1 to the serial port. You may
damage your PKD-1!
