Model: AVR-4310CI, AVR-4810CI
Subject: Reinforcement of the pattern of "8U-110063-2 AMP CONNECT
UNIT".
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.
Symptom: No power. A pattern on 8U-110063-2 AMP CONNECT UNIT might
open.
Cause: 1) The customer might apply the minus terminal of Loudspeakers to
chassis of unit.
2) The width of the pattern was too narrow and current handling capacity is
insufficient.
Solution: The position of soldering the wire on the "8U-110063-2 AMP
CONNECT UNIT" is changed, see the following for details.
MODIFICATION: 1) Replace any damaged components on "8U-110063-1
SPEAKER P.W.B. UNIT ASSY" with a new part.
2) Remove the black wire which is soldered on the pattern side of CW231 on
"8U-110063-2 AMP CONNECT UNIT", and then solder the wire to the new
position (Pin #17 and 19 of CW231) on the same P.W.B. (Refer the following
picture for details)
