Model: DVD-2800
Subject: Caution upon using the Service Part GU-3333 MAIN PWB UNIT for
the DVD-2800.
Symptom: 1) After the replacing the Main PWB Unitit is unable to update the
ESS ROM even when using the CD-R Disc for upgrading the ESS of the DVD-
2800.
2) Also, the progressive Image signal is not outputted.
Solution: Change the VERSION of the ESS ROM.
Rewrite the ESS ROM according to the following procedure.
Version up ROM (Ver.5856) for ESS
