Subject: When the A/V amplifier is connected with Display for new HDMI
(over 17 kinds of resolution.), neither the picture nor the signal of HDMI are
output.
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.
Symptom: 1) When the A/V amplifier is connected with Display for new HDMI
(over 17 kinds of resolution.), neither the picture nor the signal of HDMI are
output.
2) A Player (TViX, M-5000) equipped with a DVI output with the HDCP non-
certification and the A/V amplifier is connected. The picture would blink.
3) The PCM 7.1ch signal of the source equipment (BD player/Game machine)
connected with the A/V amplifier with HDMI was able to be reproduced correctly.
4) To connect the source equipment and the A/V amplifier that was able to be
output by the PC resolution (SVGA/XGA/SXGA etc.) correctly, the I/O function of
the PC resolution was added to the A/V amplifier.
Solution: We improved the Firmware so that the Set-up function operates
properly with greater stability.
MODIFICATION: We will supply the following program files. Therefore, please
install the Writer Software to a PC and update your customer's unit upon claim,
by means of the Writer Software. (For the update procedures, please refer to the
attached procedures.)
