Model: DVD-9000, DVD-3800, DVD-2800 and DVD-2800II
Subject: Alteration of the Optical Pick-up due to the discontinuation of the
HOP-1200RN.
Symptom: The production of the current Optical Pick-up HOP-1200RN that
was used to the listed models is discontinued and it will be replaced with new
Pick-up HOP-1200S.
Solution: 1) Please change the Part Number of the TRAVERSE MECHA
ASS'Y in your Service Manual.
2) Please order the TRAVERSE MECHA ASS'Y on which the new Optical Pick-
up HOP-1200S has been installed as soon as you have used up the TRAVERSE
MECHA ASS'Y that is equipped with the HOP-1200RN in your stock.
3) The HOP-1200S is compatible with the HOP-1200RN.
