Subject: Correction of the Firmware.
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.
Symptom: When customer powers the unit off, then on again with the power of
unit at "1~7" position of volume, the volume of left channel increases loudly for
approximately 1.5 second.
Solution: We have improved the software so that no malfunction occurs.
MODIFICATION: Replace the SYSTEM Micon (IC24 on the MCU P.W.B. UNIT
ASS'Y) with the improved MICON (Ver. 09072201) only upon claim from the
customer.
Confirmation of the Version:
1) Turn off the Power of the unit.
2) While holding the "ON/STANDBY" and "SDB/TONE" buttons on the unit down
simultaneously, switch the Power on.
3) The version of firmware for SYSTEM Micon will indicate on the FL Display.
4) When you push the "MENU/SET" button, you will see version of USB Micon.
5) Turn off the power of unit.
Replacement of the Main Microprocessor:
1) Take out the Main P.W.B. Ass'y from the unit according to the Service Manual.
2) Remove the old Main Microprocessor.
3) Attach the improved new Microprocessor.
4) Assemble the unit according to the Service Manual.

Initializing procedure:
Turn off the Power of the unit. While holding the "MENU/SET" and " I<< / - "
buttons on the unit down simultaneously, switch the Power on.
