Subject: Correction of the PC Application stored in attachment CD-ROM.
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.
Symptom: PC Application (Version 1.1.0.39) stored in attachment CD-ROM
connects with Internet when starting and checks the latest Firmware. It then
asks whether to renew Firmware after this. Trouble occurs in Firmware of RC-
R7000CI if the customer selects "NO" and Firmware of PC Application (Version
1.1.0.39) is used. RC-7000CI becomes "INITIALIZING REMOTE" displays as a
result, and operating becomes impossible. "INITIALIZING REMOTE" of the
display cannot be repaired. The repair can only be done by exchanging the
product. Please contact the customer to have them update the "PC Application"
to latest version (Ver.1.2.0.58) when you exchange products.
Solution: MODIFICATION: Attachment CD-ROM has been changed. (From
Ver.1.1.0.39 to Ver.1.2.0.58) "PC Application" built into CD-ROM is pasted and a
"black round seal" is pasted to the upper right of the back of Blister case as for
the product of latest version (Ver.1.2.0.58).

The above modification to production models has been applied beginning from
the following serial numbers.
