Introduction
Service Manual Structure
The service manual is structured as follows:­ The 'core' service manual Chapter 1: Foreword Chapter 2: Chapter 3: Chapter 4: General Information System Module UIF Modules

The core section of the service manual describes those areas of the NHE­8/9 series handportable phone which are common to all variants. This includes performance specifications and detailed descriptions of each module including common pcb parts lists. (this may be part of an appendix if it is specific to a variant) Appendicies to the core manual Transceiver variants The appendix sections of the service manual describes variants of the NHE­8/9 series handportable phone including an exploded view of the mechanics, any specific pcb parts lists. Service Software ­ Users guide Tuning Instructions ­ Setups fo tuning Service Tools ­ Pictorial views of tools used. Disassembly / Troubleshooting ­ Diagrams and faultfinding flow charts. Non­ serviceable Accessories ­ pictorial views only. PHF­3 Service Booklet ­ Handsfree unit Car Installation Guide ­ Procedures for vehicle installation FPS­4 Flash Programmer user guide
