The display will disappear shortly after the unit is powered on.

Solution:

If the Customer complains of the display going dark, replace R808. This thermistor is located on the main board. Replace the parts listed below. REF FORMER DESCRIPTION R808 THERMISTOR, 100 OHM PART NUMBER N/A DESCRIPTION CARBON RESISTOR, 100 OHM NEW PART NUMBER 1-249-405-11

Note: R808 is shown as a resistor in the schematic diagram when in fact, it is a thermistor.
