Since the exchange method of the printed circuit board in the PDP unit was changed, the contents of change are informed. Therefore, this service manual describes only the information relevant to it. For details other than those described in this manual, please refer to the PD-42V31BJE, PD42V31BSE, PD-42V31BUE service manual (No.YA013 2003/9).
HOW TO IDENTIFY PDP UNIT
Three kinds of panels, "QLE0023-001", "QLE0023-002", and "QLE0023-003" are used for this model. In case you exchange panels, please be sure to work after checking the parts number of a panel. NOTE: As for the LOGIC-MAIN PWB, the parts number is not indicated on the PWB. Please distinguish the following figure by the difference among loading parts to reference.

NOTES AT THE TIME OF REPAIR
When the [IN-1] connector which has connected the SMPS PWB and the VIDEO SMPS PWB is removed, please be sure to measure the voltage value between 1 pin and 4 pin of the [IN-1] connector on a SMPS PWB. Please connect a connector after dropping on less than 50V, when a voltage value between 1 pin and 4 pin is more than 50V. If it connects while the voltage value has been more than 50V, the fuse on the VIDEO SMPS PWB may blow and it may become the cause of secondary failure.
