Design and Construction of a New Temporary Hangar to House the CC177 Globemaster 111 Aircraft CFB Trenton, Ontario
THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO GIVE EFFECT TO THE FOLLOWING: 1. Revise CONOPS Plan para 2.2 to read "Install temporary fencing and jersey barriers around the PCA in accordance with Section 01500 in the Specification. No other work will be allowed within the GRA before the fence is installed and approved by the Engineer. This fence can only be installed after the Apron work is completed November 5, 2007." 2. Revise INVITATION TO TENDER , 1 INVITATION AND PROJECT DETAILS, para 1.4 Contract Completion Date, to read " The contract completion date for this project is 320 days from date of contract award, with a milestone completion date for all work with the exception of restoration work, to be completed by no later than 220 calandar days from contract award. 3. Revise DCL150 Tender Form item 8. The milestone date for all work, with the exception of the restoration work, has been changed from 160 calendar days from contract award to 220 calendar days from contract award. 4. Revise Section B2030 Exterior Doors 3.2.1 Hangar Door, add sentence .5 Translucent panels are required for two side doors only, translucent panels not required for center door. 5. Revise Section D5015, modify para 5.2.31 by replacing the 2nd sentence with: Door motors greater than 25 Hp shall be equipped with reduced voltage starters as defined in Section D5010, page 10 of 11, para 8.5.7. 6. Revise Section D5015, para 5.2.19 by adding the following new sentence at the end of the para: These requirements are applicable to the vehicle door only. 7. Revise Section D5015, delete para 5.2.28. 8. Revise Section D5015, delete clause 5.2.30 and replace with the following: Refer to Section B2030 para 3.22.2 for door and mullion control sequences. 9. Revise Section D5020 para 1.4.2, add new sub paragraphs defining Light Loss Factors (LLF) to be used in lighting calculations as follows: a. Fluorescent systems: LLF = 0.7 b. Interior HID systems: LLF = 0.65

c. Exterior HID systems: LLF = 0.65 10. Revise Section D5020, para 3.2.1.7 by adding the following: , 1000 watts. 11. Revise Section D5020 para 2.14 exterior luminaires delete the words "shall illuminate the entire exterior of the building". 12. Revise Section D5025, para 1.1.2 by adding the following: or Siemens Type SBOL1310. 13. Revise Section D5060, add new sentence 1.1.6 as follows: all tests carried out by the contractor and suppliers for equipment and procedures specified under the D and G series electrical specifications shall have test documentation annotated with traceability back to the specific specification clause that required the test. 14. Revise Section G4040, para. 3.5 Fire Alarm and Detection System : add new sentence as follows: .6 Install a pull station on the interior latch side of the container exit door. 15. Revise Section G4040, para 2.6 Generator Controls add new sentence as follows: .54 Install amber coloured strobe on container exterior that will flash on any of the above alarms. 15. Revise Section G4040, para 3.5 Fire Alarm and Detection System , Sentence 1, by adding the following words after "fire detector": "or pull station".
