Description
Operates in synchronization with number 2/3 mirror unit to transfer images to the CCD. It focuses and transmits the image to the CCD. It charges the drum with a negative charge. Drives the copy out onto the copy exit tray. Drives the copy paper to the copy exit rollers. A teflon coated roller that provides the heat and works with the pressure roller for fusing the toner to the paper. Silicon rubber roller that provides the pressure and works with the fuser roller for fusing the toner to the paper. Transports waste toner to the used toner container in the TD unit. An OPC that provides the latent image of the original for transfer to the copy paper.

Description
Provides an electrical charge to transfer the original image from the drum to the copy paper. Synchronizes the leading edge of the copy paper to the leading edge of the original on the drum. A manual source for feeding non-standard paper or film. Feeds the top sheet of paper from the bypass paper feed tray. Reflects the original's image to the lens unit. Transports paper from the bypass paper pickup roller to the registration roller. Transports paper from drawer 2. Feeds the top sheet of paper from drawer 2. Feeds the top sheet of paper from drawer 1. Supplies toner to the OPC drum. This roller has a negative bias applied to it.

Feeds the top original from original tray. Drives the original past the ADF exposure glass. Synchronizes the leading edge of the original with the leading edge of the image on the drum. Follows the rotation of the ADF registration roller and provides pressure for positive original movement. Moves the original to the ADF exit roller. Follows the rotation of the ADF transport roller and provides pressure for positive original movement. Drives the original out of the ADF and onto the original exit tray. Follows the rotation of the ADF original exit roller and provides pressure for positive original movement.
