Technical Data Nominal voltage: Nominal power: Drive: Impulses (rpm): Feed performance: Filling capacity: Operating pressure: Connecting hose: Operating time: Auto turn off: 120 V, 50 - 60 Hz approx. 25 W 15 V direct current motor with piston pump 700 1150 strokes/min electronically adjustable 300 ml/min when control switch is in position 5 600 cm3 8 bar max. Spiraled, straight length approx. 1 meter max. 15 minutes, 2 hr. cool-time The appliance is provided with an automatic turn off Response time: Reset: Air filter This appliance is provided with an air filter (13) which is placed at the appliance's front side. There is no need to maintain this filter regularly. In case this air filter must be replaced, the appliance does not need to be dismantled. In order to remove the complete air filter unit, you merely have to turn it 45° to the left side then pull it to the front. The reassembly is done in reverse order, thereby making sure the cleaner is placed horizontally. Since the filter is difficult to grip, we recommend using a suitable device such as a chamois. Special screws The special screws (9d) used in this appliance can only be unscrewed by means of a special screw driver blade. Safety torx T10. 10 min On/off switch has to be pressed twice

Disassembly · · · Remove jet container (30), brush container (40) and beaker cpl. (5). Carefully unhinge the lid (1 resp. 21) from the notches in the front housing (4 resp. 23) and remove it. Untighten the upper housing screw (positioned in the housing back below the spring catch). This makes the spring catch (9a) slide out of the housing to such an extent, that it can be removed together with the spring (9b) without any problems. Untighten and remove all housing screws (9d). Remove the back housing (2 resp. 22) from the notching (at the bottom of the appliance) by lifting the bottom at the appliance feet (9c). Remove the back housing to the backside. The appliance feet and the copper plate (9e) are placed back into the housing. Pull pump (8) and elbow (10) off their support to get free access to the hose clip (9f). Remove the elbow. Cut the hose clip (9f) with a pair of side cutters and remove. Attention: Safety goggles must be worn! Tear corrugated tube off the pump and remove dampers (7a). Unlock and remove fastener (9h). The handle cpl. (7) can be removed from the housing (to the front side). Remove PCB cover. Pull the air tube (14) off the pump and plug connectors off the motor connection. Take off O-ring 6 x 3 (9I) and O-ring 9.5 x 3 (9j) from the component. Remove damper (9k) from the housing. The regulating switch cpl. (6) is fixed in the housing by means of two notches. Press the notches together and remove the switch. The PCB cpl. (12 resp. 25) is fixed with a notching hook in the area of the connecting plug. Unhinge the notching hook and remove PCB. Take off the connecting plug. Remove the air tube (14) from the lead at the transformer housing and remove it from the connection piece of the air filter (13). Now the complete air tube component can be removed. Unhinge the coil cpl. (26) from both notches. Remove both plug connectors. Take off coil and ferrite core. To remove the transformer cpl. (11 resp. 24), untighten screw and notching. 4715 - 6

Assembly · · · · Attach and tighten transformer cpl. (11 resp. 24) by screwing. Make sure that the notch snaps in correctly. Run the mains lead through the slot in the back housing. Insert the ferrite core into the housing. Connect the coil (26) and hook it to the notches. Run the cables through the housing slot provided for this purpose. Attach the air tube with support (14) and connect it to the connection piece of air filter. Connect and insert the PCB cpl. (12 resp. 25) paying attention to its correct positioning (to be slid into housing slot on the left side and snapped in at the right side; air tube not to be squeezed). The connecting wires for the motor and coil are to be run between transformer and housing. Insert regulating switch cpl. (6) by turning it until it snaps in. ( to do so, apply slight pressure when turning the regulating switch. Connect the motor, pay attention to the correct polarity (red line to the designated connection). Attach the O-rings (9I and 9j) ton the component and insert damper (9k) into the housing. Connect the air tube to the connecting piece of the pump and run it in the lead of the transformer housing. Insert the elbow (10), making sure that it snaps in correctly. Assemble the handle cpl. (7). To do so, pull the tube through the provided opening and fix it with the fastener (9h). Connect the corrugated tube to the connecting piece of the pump, fixing it with the hose clip (9f) using clamping tool. Insert the pump cpl. (8) into the provided supports at the transformer housing, the housing front and elbow. Special care must be taken that the air tube is led through the indentation of the pump housing to avoid squeezing it. By means of the dampers (7a), run the corrugated tube cleanly and without kinks (see sketches 1 and 2). Insert PCB cover. Insert the copper plate (9e) and the appliance feet (9c) into the back housing (2 resp. 22). Attach the back housing and fix it by screwing. Insert spring (9b) and spring catch (9a). Carefully hand the lid (1 resp. 21) into the notches at the front housing. Attach jet container (30), brush container (40) and beaker (5). Check function of unit, paying special attention to possible leaks. 4715 - 7
