DATE :30. AUG. 2000 REVISION : Added confirming the thread operation of pick up in Countermeasure 4 A fault may occur in IC400 or C430 of the models concerned. For avoiding the fault, component values of L415 and L416 shall be changed. L415 100µ H 330µ H , L416 47µ H 100µ H 1) Remove L416 (47 µ H). 2) Remove the coil of L415 (100µ H), and mount the coil onto the land of L416. 3) Mount a 330 µH coil onto the land of L415. 4) Start the TEST MODE (P -ON with the SYNCHRO SW set to OFF), and confirm the SLED operation of the pick up by pressing F - SKIP and B- SKIP. -The countermeasure is complete if the SLED operation of the pick up is smooth. -If the SLED operation of the pick up is not smooth, change L416 back to 47 µH. Complete the countermeasure after checking again that there is no abnormality in the SLED operation of the pick up. The 100 µH coil used on L415 will be mounted on land of L416. Order a 330 µH coil only.
