The customer complaint is described as audio intermittently "skipping" or "muting".
Solution:
Remove the 470pF capacitor located on the main PC board. There are two different main boards used in these models. If the part number of the Main board is 1-655-603-13, the capacitor is located between JW45 and JW48 and mounted on the foil side of the board. The capacitor is accessible from the bottom of the unit. If the part number of the Main board is 1-655-603-14, the 470pF capacitor is mounted on the component side of the board and is labeled C390. The main board should be removed to desolder the 470pF capacitor.
