During the production phase of the TA-AV531 and TA-AV631X, R743 and R744 may not have been installed* on the Main PC board.

Solution:

When a TA-AV531 or 631X is in for service, for any reason, verify that R743 and R744 have been mounted on the main board. If not already installed, mount the resistors on the board. If you must replace the Main PC board on either of the above models, check the board for missing resistors before installing. The part numbers for the main boards are A-4360-464-A (TA-AV531), and A-4365-074-A (TA-AV631X). The resistor part numbers are listed below.
