Sheet 3 of 6 (CD-22)
CIRCUIT BOARD FEATURES AND OPTIONS POTENTIOMETER ADJUSTMENTS Exit Delay Adjustment - PI The exit delay is the period of time that the exit loop may remain open (violated) once the panel is armed without causing the panel to latch into the entrance cycle. The exit delay starts immediately when the panel is armed. (Time is installer adjustable 3 to 90 seconds. Delay is increased by rotating potentiometer thumbwheel to right,) If the exit loop is violated after the exit delay has expired, the panel will "then latch into the entrance delay cycle even if the loop is subsequently closed. If the panel is not dis armed before the end of the cycle, the alarm will sound. (Time is installer~adjustable 3 to 90 seconds. Delay is increased by rotating potentiometer thumbwheel to right.) The police connect relay activation may be delayed up to 90 seconds from the time the panel is tripped into alarm condition. (The delay is installer-adjustable I to 90 seconds. Delay is increased by rotating potentiometer thumbwheel to right.) This delay does not effect the instant operation of this relay by hold-up or panic circuits. Recycle/cutoff position: - When the panel is armed and is tripped into alarm conditon, the siren will sound for approximately ten minutes. After this time, if the loops are restored, the panel will recycle and continue to protect the premises. If a loop is open, the bell or siren will shut off and the panel will indicate its cutoff with an output on post D. (See solder post "0" option) If the loop is restored at a later time, the panel will recycle. (See Phase Two solder post option for operation in cutoff condition) Normal Position: - An alarm will sound continously until the panel is reset at the key station. Armed Status (Red)

Switch
Optional Operation: - Cut both "5" jumpers to make operational. This switch disconnects both AC &DC from the control panel for ease in servicing system, etc. Disconnect switch is also designed to provide remote switch status indicator capability. (See solder 'post "B" option)
(Circuit Board Features and Options continued)
Solder Post Options Solder Post "A" provides voltage output for optional remote AC status LED (#2240) indicator. (Hook up LED cartridge between solder post A- and terminal #33+). Solder Post "B" provides voltage output when power disconnect switch is in the "off" position for optional remote switch status LED (#2240) indicator. (Hook up LED cartridge between solder post B+ and terminal '#11-). Solder Post "C" (see sheet 3 Phase Two operation) Solder Post "0" provides an output only when the panel is in the cutoff Various indicator hook ups are as follows: 1: Connect solder post "0" to terminal #19.
(hold-up input) This will latch police
connect relay into alarm condition while
the panel is in cutoff.
2. Connect solder post "D" to terminal #34
(loop status indicator light). This will
light the status indicator while panel is
in cutoff.
Connect solder post "D" to terminal #30
(first warning sonalert). This will sound
sonalert while panel is in cutoff.

JUMPER OPTIONS Burglary Loop Response Jumper #1 (white) Fire & Burglary Bell Slave Jumper #2 (red) Silent Panic Option Jumper #3 (yellow) Silent Burglary Option Jumper #4 (blue) This jumper, if cut, allows a fast response time (approximately 10 milliseconds) needed for vibration switches, etc. (Premise loops only - terminals 15 & 16 or 17, & 18.) This jumper, if cut, slaves the burglary bell output to the fire bell output. The burglary bell operates normally; however, if the fire bell is activated, the burglary bell will also ring to provide maximum sound. This jumper, if cut, makes the panic circuit silent (no bell or siren driver output). Relay "A" will operate instantly. This jumper, if cut, makes the burglary circuit silent (no bell or siren driver output). Relay "A" will operate after the delay period set by pot P3 has expired.

Connect terminal 3 to negative terminal of battery; connect terminal 4 to positive terminal of battery. NOTE: for re chargable battery, see terminalS below. When using a Gel/Cel, jumper terminals 4 & 5. This connects the built-in charger to the positive side of the battery. l2VDC regulated 300MA maximum continous drain. Connect l2V smoke detectors to terminal 8 positive and terminal 6 negative. Voltage is removed from these terminals when the reset button is depressed. NOTE: 12 Aritech FS602 smoke detectors may be connected to these terminals. These terminals allow the addition of remote reset buttons to reset the fire or panic circuits. NOTE: Use only normally open momentary switches. *RELAY "B" MUST BE INSTALLED. Always armed - connect a pair of wires to terminals 8 & 9 run them from fire sensor to fire sensor. Maximum loop resistance with any fire sensor closed is 50 ohms. The reset button must be depressed to reset the fire circuit. Terminals 10 & 11 Maximum available

It is very useful in preventing operator-caused false alarms. A. If the operator is slow leaving (exit loop is opened after exit delay has elapsed), the first warning will signal the need to reset the control and re-arm the panel to allow new delay period. Upon entering, it warns that the system is armed and timing towards an alarm. No outside keys or status lamps are necessary.

Supervised - wire only closed circuit contacts in this loop. Maximum loop resistance is 500 ohms. (any contacts violated on exit/entry should be wired to this loop.) Unsupervised - Any open circuit devices that must be violated on Exit/Entry (such as mats) should be wired in parallel to these. terminals. This green lamp is lit when all loops are in the normal or no alarm condition. Connect loop status lamps or LED with 680 ohm resistor across terminals 33 positive and 34 negative. Maximum: 5 - #6730.

Normally Open Momentary Switch: Closing the key switch or applying positive voltage to terminal 36 will arm & disarm the control panel. NOTE: This panel is equipped with arming interlock. This feature prevents arming the control panel (armed lamp on) unless the loop status lamp is on (all loops safe). This prevents .arming and causing a false alarm. NOTE: If a positive voltage greater than 2 volts is left on terminal 36 continously, the panel will arm when the loops are closed. With Relay "A" installed, terminals 37 & 39 are closed. When an alarm occurs, terminals 37 & 39 open and terminals 37 & 38 close. With Relay "A" installed, terminals 40 & 42 are closed. When an alarm occurs, terminals 40 & 42 open and terminals 40 & 41 close. *RELAY "A" MUST BE INSTALLED. Connect terminals 38,42, and 43. Connect erminals 39, 41, and 22. Terminals 37 and 40 are the leased line terminals. Terminal 37 is negative and terminal 40 is positive. During an alarm, the terminals change polarity. Leased line power. Short circuit protected.
