Description
Changing the firmware of C-3040ZOOM because of improving software PAL : v354p-75 NTSC(GUI:English) : v354u-76 NTSC(GUI:Japanese) : v354-76
Contents
The following contents are modified by new software. 1. It hangs-up, if folder name is "DCIM".
Countermeasure
Install the above new firmware in all C-3040ZOOM that has old firmware version.
Version Up Procedure (From Smartmedia Card)
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Prepare Smartmedia Card for new firmware Make "Firmware" folder in the Smartmedia Card Put new firmware as file name "firmware.bin" in "Firmware" folder. Note! : The file name has to be "firmware.bin", not "v354p-75". Insert the Smartmedia Card in C-3040ZOOM. Select "Play" mode with mode dial. Power ON C-3040ZOOM The current F/W version is indicated on TFT. Select "YES" and Press "OK" button. F/W rewriting is started automatically. It takes about 2 minutes. Note! : Don't touch any key (don't carry out Power OFF) during rewriting F/W because it is fatal damage to C-3040ZOOM. New firmware version is indicated on TFT after finishing the rewriting work. Select "NO" and Press "OK" button.
