Hinweis zur Verkabelung Der BraunVerstärker ist - wie auch die 41 anderenGerätedieserSerie- so konstruiert, daß zwischenden rückwärtigen Ans c h l u ß b u c h s eu n d d e r A b d e c k u n gg e n ü n gend Platzzur Unterbringung Verkabeder lung vorhandenist. Nach erfolgterVerkabel u n g i s t d i e A b d e c k u n g i e d e ri n d i e F ü h w 3 r u n g s s c h i e n e(n 2 ) e i n z u h ä n g e n . Der Verstärker wird ohne VerbindungskaA1 bel geliefert. Passende Kabel sind den zugeh ö r i g e nB r a u nG e r ä t e n u n e r T l ,P l a t t e n T P s p i e l e r 1 u n d C a s s e t t e n d e cC 1 b e i g e k packt. Der Verstärker wird durch Drückendes A1 (1) Netzschalters eingeschaltet. EinDie (LED),,on, im Anzeigenfeld schaltkontrolle (14)leuchtetauf. Protectioncircuits
The amplifieris fitted with an electronicprotection system againstshortingin the loudspeakercircuitsand thermal overloading. The amplifierwill automaticallyturn itself back on once conditions have returnedto normal i. e. the heatsinkparts have cooled down sufficiently. The electronicprotection does not switch off the LED display (14). Fuses Shouldthere be a breakdownnot detected by the electronicprotectionsystem or a defect in the unit itself,the built-insafety fuse will be activated. Basic control position It is recommendedto set all controls in the normal position i.e. switch off push-buttons (5) to (9) anOset the rotary controls (11) to (13)to their centre position.lt would also help to switch off the "display sens>switch (10).Now only prevailing room acoustics and personal preferencesneed be consideredwhen settingthe controls. Volume adjustment The basic control positiondoes take into account that the human ear recognizeshigh and low frequencies lesswell than mid-range when the amplifieris played quietly.By slightlylowering the mid-range frequencies in relationto the high and low frequenciesat lower volume levelsa uniformtotal response at all volume settingsis experienced. This loudnesscompensationcan be countermanded by activatingpush-button"linear" (9).The frequencyresponseis then linearas long as the basic control positionsare not changed.
