1. Standardization of the parts codes for the IC in the ICU PWB. 1.Model name: AR-5040
2.General:
An error for the parts codes of the IC (Silk No. IC 33) used in the ICU circuit board was found, listing two different model codes for the same part. To correct this error the parts codes have been standardized as described below.
3.Description: VHISN74LS19NVHISN74LS19NS These are the same IC, but the parts codes are listed as different models.
The parts codes have been standardized and listed as: VHISN74LS19NS
4.Action:
From 1995 February production.
2. Prevention of noise in the shield box. 1.Model name: AR-5040 (200 V line only)
2.General:
A problem of abnormal noise occurred in the shield box unit. To alleviate this problem, a shield plate was added as shown in the figure for those units bound for areas supplied with the 200 V line.

The shield sheet used in the shield box has been discontinued to improve productivity.

5. Prevention of unclean copies due to the curling of the rear end of the copy paper during double side copy operations. 1.Model name: AR-5040
2.General:
The measures described below have been carried out to prevent unclean copies due to the curling of the rear end of the copy paper during double copy operations.
3.Description:
Teflon tape has been attached to the fixing unit thermostat attachment plate to prevent unclean copies.

2.General:
The measures described below have been carried out to improve the efficiency of the pusher during stapler mode operations.
