7. GENERAL INFORMATION
7.1 DIAGNOSIS 7.1.1 TEST MODE
This unit is used together with a DAB control unit (e.g. DEH-P9000R/EW, KEH-P7950/ES, etc.). During Test mode, use the keys on the DAB control unit. All keys can be found on the remote control assembly, except the keys to enter Test mode. · Entering Test mode: Press the TA and Track Down keys simultaneously to reset the system. · Exiting Test mode: Set ACC to OFF.

Before Using This Product(GEX-P700DAB/ES)
MODE Switch Setting
Set MODE switch on the side of this product to appropriate position with a pen tip or other pointed instrument. Operations may differ slightly in each MODE. To ensure the appropriate reception of DAB, be sure to set MODE switch correctly.
Resetting the Microprocessor
The microprocessor must be reset under the following conditions: When using this product for the first time after installation. When the machine fails to operate properly. When strange (incorrect) messages appear on the display. When setting the position of the MODE switch on the side of this product.
· To reset the microprocessor, press the RESET button on the unit with a pen tip or other pointed instrument.
(A) Country setting to Canada
When you use this product in Canada, set the MODE switch to A position.
(B) Country setting to other country
When you use this product in other country than Canada, set the MODE switch to B position. In this case, Service Follow does not work.
