This publication is intended for VM/370 system
programmers. A debugging section describes the pro-
cedures, commands, and utilities useful in debugging
and provides guidance in dump reading. A Control
Program (CP) section describes how CP works and
tells how to modify or better utilize CPo A Conver-
sational Monitor System (CMS) section describes
how CMS works, and describes in detail some
special features of CMS. The last two sections de-
scribe teleprocessing support for VM/370: one
section describes the IBM 3704 and 3705
Communications Controllers and the other
describes the Remote Spooling Communications
Subsystem (RSCS).
