IBM System/360 Disk Operating System Assembler [F]

This publication describes the internal logic of
the F (64K) Assembler for the IBM Systern/360
Disk Operating System. It is intended for ,use
by persons involved in program maintenance and
by system programmers who are altering the
program design. Since program logic information
is not necessary for the use and operation of
the Assembler, distribution of this publication
is limited to these people.

PREFACE



This manual describes the internal logic of IBM System/360 Operating System,
the IBM System/360 Disk Operating System F Principles of Operation (Form A22-682l)
Assembler. The introduction gives the pur-
pose of the assembler and summarizes its
organization, theory of operation, and sys- IBM System/360 Disk Operating System,
tem and I/O requirements. The bulk of the System Control and System Service
manual is devoted to detailed descriptions Programs (Form C24-5036)
of the logical phases of the F Assembler.
Effective use of this document is based IBM System/360 Disk Operating System,
on an understanding of the latest versions Data Management Concepts (Form
of the following manuals: C24-3427)
